New York-native, Philadelphia-based Tim Stout is writing the soundtrack to a better life.
Shortly after having lost his father to the attack on the World Trade Center, 9/11/2001, music and performance became a saving grace and primary means of expression for Stout. Drawing influence from soulful pop artists like Prince, Allen Stone, Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz, and James Bay, his life-giving songs are equally parts refreshing and familiar.
After having opened for Allen Stone at Brooklyn Bowl, only a few short months after his first gig, Stout teamed up with producer Cale Hawkins (Raveena, Joshua Thew) to create singles which have been placed on Netflix's Hype House and SBS Plus's I Am Solo.
His debut EP, The Key to Happy Living, and most recent single, Make Me Wanna Move, are out now.
